The first part of this hummus post was a more traditional garlic chickpea hummus that I posted wednesday.
This is a more unusual hummus. I am trying out a combination of peas, cumin and mint on top of the more traditional ingredients such as tahini and olive oil.

It’s definitely a different taste from normal hummus. The peas are quite mild and the mint adds a nice bite.

I served it with cut veggies, but I think it would be great on crackers.
Mint Pea Hummus

Ingredients
- 16 ounce frozen peas, cooked and cooled
- ⅓ cup tahini
- ½ cup fresh mint leaves
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Place ingredients in a food processor. Puree into a paste.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
